Lansing Matinee Musicale
Dear friends,
Class&Jazz Duo had a wonderful time performing for the Lansing Matinee’s concert series yesterday afternoon. This time we presented a diverse program comprised of the 20th century composers – Alexander Tansman, Vitali Khodosh and Maurice Ravel. All three composers were following a path of conventional tonality, but nonetheless they were able to create wonderful pieces full of contrasting vigor, lively characters and captivating freshness that made this music very accessible and welcomed by the audience.
We will be working on a new CD production that will include both Tansman and Khodosh’s Suites besides other pieces. Stay tuned to the site updates to do not miss the release date! Until then…
