VII International Chamber Music Competition of New England
Hi folks,
Happy to announce that me and Natalia have just completed our application to VII International Chamber Music Competition in Boston, which is happening in December, 2016. We also mailed in the recording that was part of the application process. Should our entry advance to the following live rounds, we will be going to perform at the Jordan Hall of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA on December 3-4.
We are very excited about this, especially since it is not easy to find a chamber music competition here in US that would consider duos, like ours a chamber group. For some weird reason the general US trend is to consider chamber music ensembles with the minimum of three people. Meanwhile, in Europe it has been an established tradition to count duets as chamber ensembles, and it’s been like this for a long time!. Here is the link for our compeittion recording.
