French Music CD is Coming
Class&Jazz Duo is happy to announce our next CD album to be produced in 2017. Inspired by the recent successes of the A Paris chamber music series, we decided to record pieces that were featured in this project, along with a few more masterpieces for a new all-French album.
The blueprint repertoire of the upcoming double-CD release is to include sonatas for violin and piano by:
- Jean-Marie Leclair,
- Jean Francaix,
- Cesar Franck,
- Claude Debussy,
- Guillaume Lekeu,
- Maurice Ravel,
- Gabriel Faure,
- Darius Milhaud,
- Francis Poulenc.
The CD is planned to be recorded on the French-made violin crafted by brothers Pietro and Hippolite Silvestre (Lyons, 1837) and a French violin bow made by Francois Nicolas Voirin (Paris, 1867).
Most probably it will be recorded by Ars Longa Records media production group and published through the CD-Baby media net.
The expecting release date is September 1st, 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
